I have rented cars on several occasions from Hertz in Estero. The employees have been very courteous and quick. The cost of renting at this local facility is without question a good value. I have also purchased a previous Hertz rental here. The car was in good condition and below book value. I highly recommend the Estero Hertz location for a rental or the purchase of one of their previously owned vehicles.

the staff was easy to work with and friendly. no high pressure, no back and forth. buying a rental is like a tent sale at an open box scratch and dent sale.most cars a fairly clean but if your can live with a door ding or bumper scuff you can save a good amount.my only disappointment was a car that went through inspection and was sold with rear tires showing 2/32nd's tread and both air and cabin filters were not changed.being in the repair business these were easy fixes for me,but it's wise to have a few hundred dollars in the budget for odds and ends like spare keys and floor mats.

TYPICAL TERRIBLE SLEAZY dealership ...They will tell you what you want to hear from them when it comes to making a sale but do not hold to their end of the deal and do not care about your business once they got your money.

I bought a jeep today. I got to test drive it for three days first; awesome. No haggle pricing. Great low mile, late model vehicles. Good prices and friendly staff. I will be buying more vehicles from them. Also, a one year drive train warranty included for free.

I could of caused a scene the Saturday I went in to ask them at the dealership and I could of gave Mark a hard time when I had to call them after being told that he would be calling me but I didn't. Mark was very defensive right off the bat when I told him my problem so I'm sure they get a lot of disgruntled customers on the regular. I just wanted to know what was the delay. That was the worse experience I've ever been through not only with their customer service but their management as well. The funny thing is, the Saturday I went in, the person that handles their financing and warranties sold me the maintenance package. I tried to flag him down to talk to him but he kept on walking like he knew I had a problem and he was the one that told me," We operate like a family business, not like the other dealerships." I will never do business with them again, will tell anyone that will listen not to give them their business, and go to a real dealership. BUYERS BEWARE!

So the day arrives that I'm supposed to hear from the manager, lo and behold, I don't hear anything from them. I call them on my break which is at 3:30 P.M. I tell the manager about my situation and all he does, Mark is his name, starts firing excuses about how he just got the message at 10 A.M. and then that he contacted the people that handle the maintenance package and haven't heard from them. Which is understandable BUT Mark had the nerve to say that," What do you want me to do, call you and tell you that?" In my head I'm thinking yes the professional thing to do in a situation like this would be to fill the customer in on whatever the concern is. I tell him that would be the right thing to do so you don't make me, the customer, feel like you're ignoring or blowing the customer off. Then he tells me that he will call them and get back to me. Not even minutes later, he was able to comfirm that I did buy a maintenance package (probably because for some reason he thought I was lying or they never ordered it when I first bought it back in July) and that it would be sent to my home in TWO TO FOUR WEEKS! Let's do the math, he came across the note about my problem at 10 AM, between then and when I call them at 3:30 PM he tells me he had not heard anything so did not feel the need to call me to say that he's waiting on a response but was able to find out within minutes after I called him. Something doesn't add up and it sounds like they have no accountability whatsoever.

I bought a car back in July and purchased their maintenance package. They told me I should receive the booklet for oil changes etc in the mail. It's now November and my car is due for an oil change and I haven't received or heard anything from them. So I stopped by at the dealership on 11/11/17 to see what was the hold up. They said they couldn't do anything about it that day and just took my name and told me the manager will call me on Monday. The first red flag I should of noticed is when the person that took my info could care less on hearing me out and just kept saying that the manager will get in touch with me when I was trying to explain myself. I was not looking for a petty party, but he could of been more personable.
