Grande Oaks Liquor in Estero has a great selection, staff was very polite and helpful, highly recommend.

There was nothing redeeming about this store! The clerk was rude and proceeded to lecture me and my 21 year old son about numerous things. He insulted me personally, Americans in general and said that people over 30" can't learn anything ". When I asked if we could please just complete the transaction, he said no, he hasn't scanned the bottle yet. What a complete jerk!! I wouldn't left right away, but I was buying the bottle for someone else.

When I arrived at the counter, the guy at the cash register said that I should pay for BOTH 9-packs of Miller Lite, unless I agreed to clean the store. What an idiot. I dropped everything I intended to purchase right then and there. I explained to the moron that I don't work there. The jackass said that I already had, and gestured to the back aisle where the defective carton had fallen apart.

This is a great local liquor store with great selection of wines and spirits. The staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy- which I appreciate. I have been shopping at this store for a little over a year and it has been a very pleasant experience.

I just cannot believe the comments made by MARK JOHNSON. Coincidently I was also in the store buying my bottle of rum and I witnessed the whole incident. Where I saw him and realized he was a bit drunk and moved out of his way and prayed to the God he should not knock any shelves, he went to the cooler and knocked few beers on the floor and did not even care to let the staff know and when questioned about it he denied about it and also did not want to pay. Does he realize what he had done? I ask him the question "If anybody comes to his home and start breaking things how would he feel about it?" All I want to say is - Freedom of speech is all good but before you give tips for improvements or comment just look in to yourself and think what and how good you are in this society.

Don't waste your time, go any where else, or go without!!

It had been a while since I restocked on beer. I went to this place to get some Miller LIte. A nice guy was doing demos of Captain Morgan and some flavored vodkas. I liked what he had to offer, so I picked up a bottle, plus some of the juices needed to mix the drinks. Then I went to the beer cooler. The package was not properly put together, so when I pulled it out, the beer bottles (aluminum) went to the floor. Two of them burst. I went to the counter and explained what was going on, intent on purchasing the flavored vodka, two containers of juice, and the 9-pack of pint-sized Miller Light cans.

Tips to the owner: 1) get someone to man the register that speaks English. 2) Get someone to man the register who understands retail, not booze. 3) Get someone to man the register whose parents aren't brother and sister. 4) get someone to man the register who has had raw experiences at other retail establishments, so that he/she can avoid BIG problems by being human. 5) Get someone to man the register who recognizes a human being. 6) Get someone to man the register who understands that pissing off customers in a completely stupid manner such as this makes for bad relationships with Vodka distributors. 7) Get someone behind the register who understands the idea of community - that in a community, we don't screw each other just because we think we can. 8) Get someone behind the register who recognizes that word of incidents like this travels far and wide in the information age. 9) Fire that bozo. 10) If the bozo actually owns the store, I'll be very glad when he doesn't own it any more - I may come back when the inbred jackass with an I.Q. lower than cabbage will NEVER be seen in that store again. What a jerk. Won't see me back any time soon.

I would have given this store zero stars if that was possible.

Good selection of booze, but not a great selection of beer. But if you need gin, vodka, whiskey, etc... This is your place. Staff is great, too. Cheers!

I will never go back there, and think that employee (at least I hope he's not the owner) should be fired.
